A Meet and Greet that went horribly wrong..what should I do?

This is actually a test question to see how many sitters and owners are viewing posts made here. If you are reading this, please click to upvote this post, even if you do not respond.

Are you no longer registered on Rover? I see your booking link is gone.

I think lots of folks get disillusioned about Rover after being on the platform was a long time. I haven't seen a new client booking request for almost 5 months. I'm busy with currents, but no new ones! And ton's more sitters on the site in my area, and all lower rates.

True, but it doesn't cost anything to keep your account on the site. I did get a new booking for Xmas but the last one was a long time ago. Fortunately, I sit for a number of neighborhood dogs off-Rover. I don't need to be constantly booked. I like my freedom.

Ok - first time on this page.

I did get 40 views and 5 upvotes out of it. not much but perhaps better than I expected.

I saw it. What's the issue? Can people not respond to things?

You're up to 24 now, so there are other people actually checking in here periodically. However, that's typical for messageboard communities. There are usually only a handful of people who regularly post and hundreds/thousands who only lurk.

I'm new here but plan to be active because I'm sure there's a lot I can learn, and also share from my experiences.

Lurker here... most questions are answered by the time I see them lol

I have a meet n greet next week with a pet owner and her two fur babies. I’m hoping it goes well. I’m looking forward to having new clients; her fur babies are 5 months and 2 years old
