What should I do if a dog I watched through Rover caused damage to my property?

Hi there! So I am pretty new to Rover, and most stays I have done have gone great so far. I have had one issue that I am getting stressed out about because I'm not sure what to do, or if there's anything I can do. The situation was I had a dog stay with me in my apartment for one week. She was a fairly well-behaved dog, but we did have an incident where she tore up my carpet. I was helping my roommate move out, so we kept her in my room with the door closed to prevent her from accidentally slipping out the door. She did not have a crate and her owner told me she was not crate trained, so that wasn't an option. She was only in my room for about 1 hour, and she had her food, water, and toys. It's a small section of carpet, but it is beyond repair as she dug through it all the way to the floorboard. I let her owner know of this and sent her pictures. She did seem apologetic and let me know she was getting paid at the end of the week and would send me money through Venmo/Cashapp. I gave her my real cell phone number to contact me. Unfortunately I contacted her and still haven't heard any response. The big problem is I'm moving out of my apartment in a couple of weeks and have no idea how much I will be charged and if I can afford it honestly. I've been looking through Rover's terms and it doesn't seem like they cover any damages done if it was at the sitter's home which is pretty ridiculous. So what if anything should I do? I know now for future stays I should probably have a contract made in the chance that there are any damages that happen. Any advice on this situation would be appreciated!
