Anyone seen this type of client response?

In text conversations with a potential client, I have twice gotten a reply similar to this:

Me: It was so nice meeting you! Fifi is a cutie pie!

Potential Client: Loved "It was so nice meeting you! Fifi is a cutie pie!'

It reminds me of social media pages where you can click 'like' on something, however this is the first time I've seen anything like this on Rover. She said it on two separate occasions. Anybody seen this type of "Loved" comments on Rover?

On iPhones, you can double tap and “heart” a message. Just like if you were to like a post on Instagram. It only works if you have iMessage though so if you don’t (like with rover’s text system) it’ll send that message.

Thanks! I'm Android, sadly 😢🙄

Thanks for the explanation -- I get it also from one client and thought it odd, cute but odd for a text message. Didn't know how she did it either....

Do you have an android phone? I was confused by this with friends until I realized that the ones who were "like"ing and "love"ing texts were all friends who had newer iphones which enable responses with emojis, that show up on android like quotation marks.

Hope that helps!

If responding from a phone emoji's can be used and typically are, I see it frequently.

I often use emojis myself, but this was odd because it wasn't an emoji, it was the actual word Loved. Do you think that is my phone "translating" an emoji into text?

I've seen this response, but it something along the lines of "Client Loved an Image" and I'm not sure if its an emoji response or not. I just ignored it.

Iphone does that
