What do you do when a client books 2 nights, but dropoff/pickup times makes it total 3 days?

Client booked two nights, but then let me know he would be dropping the pup off on the 1st day in the morning and picking up on the third day at night. Essentially, I would have the pup for 3 full days but the client is paying for 2 nights. Is this normal practice? What have any of you done?

This has been a normal occurrence for me and I've never figured out what to do about this. Rovers site says it charges it but it never does.
