Meet and greet after booking?

Is there a way to add a m&g to an upcoming booking?

I know it can be done for pending bookings but I accepted without officially proposing an m&g. Should I just coordinate it with the owner in the app or is there a way to tag it on to the confirmed booking?

Comments

Message the client with the confirmed information of when the M&G is and a simple reminder about the M&G before it happens.

Just message the client and propose having a M&G for everyone's benefit. Most problems seem to occur on bookings that sitters accept without meeting the client. So don't just jump on it. Communicate with them first and set up a meeting.

Having the M&G functionality available AFTER the booking has been confirmed (not started) would be helpful.

Most sitters never use the M&G function within the App as it serves little purpose. However, you should always have a M&G before you accept the booking, that said if its already booked you can always schedule on as soon as possible, just in case either your or the client decide its not a good fit and want to cancel.

I disagree, you should always have a paper trail of where you are with the app when talking and meeting owners. This NEEDS to be fixed I want a record that I met the owner before the booking for safety reasons. Not good advice at all.

Can someone from Rover please address this. It would be so easy to make "meet and greet" a function despite if you have booked or not. Sitters should always have the options of a paper trail detailing where you are with the app when talking and meeting owners. This NEEDS to be fixed I want a record that I met the owner before the booking for safety reasons.

Maya, Send your request directly to Rover. They will not look on this app for requests. The previous answers were correct= M&G should happen Before booking And for safety purposes, no one is watching sitters whereabouts on Rover. Sitters have to create their own safety net systems.
