Do you confirm a dog-boarding request when the dog owner has not committed to a meet and great?
Hello!
So I am a bit new to Rover. This past Saturday I received a dog boarding request for a puppy (10 weeks old) for this upcoming weekend (Friday early in the morning through Sunday evening). I was out of town at the time and let the owner know that I would not be available for a meet and greet until Tuesday evening. On Monday I sent her a message confirming for a meet and greet for Tuesday evening and she let me know she would get back to me that morning. Fast forward to Tuesday afternoon and I messaged her again asking if that evening would work, and she said she had forgot and that she was too busy to on Tuesday to meet up.
I let her know that I understood and gave her my availability for the next two days (considering the stay is Friday) right after she let me know she forgot about Tuesday. It is Wednesday, 24 hours later from the last text exchange, and she still hasn't responded to my text about when we can meet.
The question is, should I let her know that it is too late to go ahead and confirm the stay? I feel like we really need to do a meet and greet considering the dog is SO young and it might not be adjusted to my apartment, I feel bad to not confirm the stay but the owner seems a little unreliable...
Thanks for the help!
