I just started Rover and I am very eager to start puppy sitting. Any suggestions on how to get a quick start?

I really need help starting my puppy sitting career and am so excited to begin. I don't know if I am doing something wrong on my profile to make people not want to request me to puppy sit.

From what I can see, your profile may have just gone live. It wasn't there when you posted your question. You did need to provide much more information about yourself and the care guest dogs will receive. Also, I would encourage you to get testimonials from friends/relatives for whom you've cared for their pets.

I agree with Karen. Your profile is not complete and doesn't provide much information for potential clients. Also, you have pets in your home, which may put off potential clients. Nothing against you, it's just that some owners prefer their dog(s) to be the only dog in the home. I have had clients tell me they picked me specifically because I don't have pets and because I only take one client at a time.

Plus, it just takes awhile to get your business started. Look at your dashboard page for ideas from Rover on publicizing your business. Have you checked out what other sitters in your area charge? It's recommended that you start out with rates a little lower until you get some experience, then gradually raise your rates.
