Drop In booking, owner not responding to messages about key?

So I've done many drop in visits; some with me picking up a key and some without meet and greets/key (but with some way of gaining entry). I tried to schedule a meet and greet with a potential client who at first was responsive and wanted to meet me but after we agreed to the booking she didn't return my message about when to pick up the key. The next morning I message her (no response). Two days later, no response. The booking is in 3 days and I don't want to get penalized if she doesn't respond. What should I do?

Have you tried calling vs sending a text message? Also if the booking has been conffirmed and accepted by you and the client the booking instructions should have an emergency contact number so try reaching out to them.

Now if the booking hasn't been accepted by the cient , well you don't have a booking and its up to the client to reach out to you.

I have the same situation. And I have called twice and texted 4 or 5 times. No response. The job is supposed to start on the 7th of January. I missed out on a job that was overlapping some of the same dates, because I was waiting for them to book !

If a booking is not confirmed, I will not decline other bookings; instead, I will reach out to the person for whom I'm waiting and let them know (nicely) I have other clients ready to book and give them a time limit to confirm booking. If they don't confirm I will accept the other booking.
