I recently had a request for two dogs boarding Jan 10th-June 14th?
Has anyone done long term? I didn't accept the booking because I'm in an apartment and felt that would be to restricting. Thought?
I've never had this kind of request- my longest board was 5 nights. I would hesitate to board an unfamiliar dog for more than that, without having a test night or even several. Someone looking to board for months should be willing to pay to find the right fit.
Me either, months? I have had a month stay that was just fine and he was even out of the country, but 6 months? I agree with Brittany. If they love their dog they should book at test sit, or you can request it. If they are willing to pay that much for that long they should do a trial run.
