How much should I charge for a 4 hour period with multiple pets?

So I just got a request to watch 4 dogs and 2 cats for a 4 hour period from 4pm-8pm next Saturday. I'm not sure what to charge her and if i should give her the drop in rate or night rate. What would you charge? Thanks!

This will be your judgement call, consider what it's worth to you and also the competitive market rate. In my opinion (looking at it as a sitter & client), I'd expect to pay more than your drop in rate and less than house sitting, because rover guidelines indicate that's for up to 24 hours of care. You can book it as either service, enter a + / - cost adjustment for this customized 6 pet/4 hour quote, and use the Rover message area to document it's for 4pm-8pm.

I would probably charge a drop in rate, but I see your extra dog and cat rate might prove to be a bit pricey even for a 4-hour stay 15+5+5+5+15=$45 - possibly charge $30-$35

4 dogs and 2 cats? That is quite a few animals and also a lot mor work than just one about 4 times ish as much work. I’d charge at least $50 but more likely somewhere between $55 and $85

It seems to me If someone chooses to live with a lot of pets they should expect higher fees.
