Do the Client's Review get reviewed before they get published?

My latest client txted me today after their dogs stay saying they have written a review for me, but I can't see it (yet?).

Do the Client's Review get reviewed before they get published? Or does it usually just take some time?

I never thought of it before, and I have been on Rover for a year now. Usually I just see the review eventually, but noone have told me they have just written it and asked me to check.

I wonder if they have done it differently?

PS I have never used Rover service myself, so I don't know how the client review works.

They do not get reviewed before publication. HOWEVER, Rover has a "lovely" little feature that constantly causes confusion for people because it is completely counterintuitive. On the review form, there is a box that has to be unchecked in order to make the review visible to anyone besides Rover and the person who wrote it. The box is automatically checked to make the review "private" and you have to manually un-check it to fix the problem.

That little checkbox STILL causes frustration for myself and some of my clients after something like 18 months of doing this. ๐Ÿ˜…

Most times I believe reviews are not reviewed before Rover posts them to your profile, if you have email notifications turned on you will receive one every time a review is published. Clients are allowed to leave just a star rating or can also add narrative if they wish.
