Do they need to do BG check for both? I want to add my Daughters name to the profile as she is helping me with a lot of the tasks I feel she deserve to be a partner in my business.

I highly doubt Rover would allow that, as your profile states that your children are 12 and 10, and you have to be 18 to be an authorized pet sitter/walker. Most likely due to legalities & liabilities.
Many sitter families have both names on their profile as they both provide services to clients, and yes background checks are required for anyone to be added to the profile. As Deb mentioned you must be 18 years of age to be an approved sitter and listed on the profile
