First time drop in and they want me to walk the dog?

Hello about to do my first Drop in Visit! The client wants me to stop in 3x a day and my rate is $15 per drop in, But then he also said he wants me to do short walk with the dog once a day while im there. Do you guys charge an extra rate for add on walks or include it in your drop in visit ? im conflicted !!

Nope I will walk a client when doing drop ins - same rate, same charge, its 30 minutes per visit. Actually, I prefer to walk them as the time goes by quicker. Best of luck

P.S. and your drop in and walk rate should be the same always

Yes, I do the same, I charge the same rate for walks and drop ins. That way people can't take advantage of the service that has a lower rate. And for the sitter it won't matter if he/she gets asked to walk the dog instead of a drop in

I do a 15-20 minute walk on a drop-in.

When there are multiple visits per day, visits #1 and 3 are for feeding, potty breaks, and play/cuddle. #2 is for a longer walk and any other activities requested. I usually don't walk dogs too far on drop in visits since it's for 30 minutes total and usually includes feeding and watering the dog.

We do the same as Cari here. When multiple drop ins, we usually choose a mid day visit for a walk, if the owners want one. This leaves other times for playing in their own yard and plenty of poo/pee chances. Good question!
