When I book a person, when do they get paid? Do you take the funds out immediately from my card or do you wait until the service is completed?

Rover will charge your credit card when the booking is confirmed. This is to protect the pet sitter from clients not paying. The sitter is not paid until 48 hours after the booking ends, to make sure that you are satisfied with the care your dog received. If you are unhappy with anything during the booking, let your sitter know--most will want to make it right and learn from their mistake! But you can always contact Rover support as well, and they will help you out.
