A client threw in extra chores... Advice?

A client booked 3 days with me, drop ins and walks. When it came time to begin, he threw in feeding his cat as well. Not a huge thing, but feeding the cat six times, (with special instructions for feeding), seems like taking advantage a bit. I had no idea what to extra charge, for one thing, but also how to relay my feeling. I am new to this and I didn't want to lose one of my 1st customers, so I didn't say anything. Advice?

First booking, first client - great news!! Many clients ask us to care for other pets not listed on their profile, you will quickly find this out at the meet and greet, that is the time to discuss extra charges if you feel they are necessary. Best of luck

Did you have a M&G? If not, then you would have visited the home and seen the cat and mentioned to the owner that ALL pets need to have profiles on Rover in order for them to be covered by Rover's guarantees. You would then adjust the booking (before payment) so that the additional animal charge is included.

I see that you don't have a cat care charge. You should create one now for future use, just in case this comes up again.
