How do I get the Rover Walking Certification?

Hi, I hope this isn't too redundant. I haven't seen a super clear way to get more info on the Rover Walking Cert so we can do on-demand walking. Can someone point me in the right direction for the walking certification? Thank you!

I also have not been able to find any information about this. After completing all the online quizzes I was automatically brought to a web-page to sign up for the test but all the sites options were in Chicago IL. I live in NYC! I sent them an e-mail about it but I just said to wait for another emai

If you are brand new on the site, you may see a message box on your profile page telling you "We've noticed something incomplete" and that you must complete the Rover Walking Certification before you can offer Rover Now walks.

You cannot complete this certification until your profile has been accepted and your background check has cleared. The wording is ambiguous, and suggested to me that perhaps this incomplete step had to be finished before the profile review could be wrapped up; customer service informs me this is not the case. If you're new, wait until your profile is approved, and then you will receive an email telling you how to become certified.

Do you know how many days after your profile is accepted it will take to receive information on how to become certified?

The certification focuses on two different pieces: general walker information—including dog safety—and how to use the app. Here’s what to expect: 1. Once you complete your profile, our sitter team will review it (generally within 5 business days). If your profile is approved, you’ll get an email and text with details about starting your certification. 2. Answer additional questions about availability, locations you’d like to walk, and more. Receive information on collars and harnesses, the app, and safety and service expectations, and take quizzes along the way. 3. The final step is an in-person harness check—show us what you’ve learned! Your certification should take about 2-3 days to complete. Once you’re certified, you’ll be able to accept walks anytime you like.

Best of luck

I just accepted my first walking job but dont recall getting cerfified....?

Same here ?

Rover now walking and regular dog walking is 2 different options. Rover now walking is only in some cities and requires an extra certification

How long does it take after the harness check?
