Why do the sitter fees keep going up?

Why do sitter fees keep going up? At this rate I can no longer afford to have my preferred sitter watch my dog for me in the future?

It would be safe to say, your preferred sitter is in demand and most likely getting more requests than she can actually handle, hence the rate increase. But if you are a very regular client, there would be nothing wrong with sending her a message and "asking" for a discount or something like that

All Rover sitters are independent contractors and set their own rates, Rover does not control rate increases. Providing pet care is a very demanding profession and we actually make a very low income for our efforts in caring for your pets while you are away. Best of luck to you

The sitter sets his/her fees. You will have to ask the sitter. Rover has nothing to do with it.
