Dog-walking as a team of two?

Hi sitters,

I'm new to this site and would like an opinion on something. My friend and I are planning to walk dogs as a two-person team. I like the idea of booking through Rover for the resources and cool features, but I also see that most profiles are individuals. What would you do in my situation? Should I look for a different website or make my own even though the Rover features are so cool?

My main concerns are: -each profile only accommodates 1 background check -people might not pay the higher price for a team of two because they are comparing it with profiles of individual dog-walkers

Any friendly opinions are appreciated!

Anyone on a Rover profile must have a background check so if you want to have a joint profile both must pass to be listed. Many profiles are joint, but the majority are individual. Joint accounts usually charge the same rates for services as the individual do, they just share the work and the income. Best of luck to you

Thanks! I'd like to make a joint profile, but haven't seen any way to do this. How do I add a second individual to the profile?

To add another person to your profile you can only do it by calling Rover Support @ [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]
