How much do I charge for additional dogs and or cats?
I have a client who has 5 dogs, 1 cat and 3 birds. Twelve dollars is the standard fee, but this is a lot more work.

I assume you are performing a drop-in service for this client and would feel a rate of $30-$40 a visit would be fair. Is this going to be recurring weekly booking or just 1 time for a week or so? If it were going to be recurring I might consider a lower visit rate in favor of a long-term financial commitment to you.
Depending what is needed for the visit $30-40. Your rate is low at $12 so check distance, what they need for the visit and how long service is needed. For example, all my visits start at $20 then I usually add $5 per dog. That is only for a 30 min visit. Don't sell service too cheap.
