Dog Boarding - Charge more for weekends?

Hi all, I'm in my 4th week with Rover and so far it's been pretty cool. I just have a question about booking overnight boarding at your house. Under our Service and rates tab it says you can charge more for weekend boarding. But in the drop down menu, there isn't an option there for charge more. There is a Holiday rate tab, but that's it. Is this something I have to change manually when a request comes in and it falls on a weekend? Or am I missing an easier way? Thanks!

I'm finding that "weekend rates" suck because the parents want to leave the kids with you from 7 am Saturday to 8 pm Sunday and only pay for 1 day. Also, the 'Holiday" rate is only for the first pet, subsequent pets are normal additional dog rate.

Weekends are the busiest times for most Rover sitters, and the rates you publish on your profile should be your weekend rates as there isn't a way to structure varying rates by days of the week. Best of luck to you

That makes sense, thanks Walt!

"Under our Service and rates tab it says you can charge more for weekend boarding."

Where exactly are you seeing this?

Under the Services tab it says "Which services would you like to offer? And under that it says Dog Boarding with a few bullet points. One of the bullet points says "Make more money on weekends."

Hi, Tina! That is Rover's way of saying "be available on the weekends if you want to earn more", but there is currently no way to adjust weekend vs. weekday rates.
