How can a client book another stay further along?

So, I have a client that has me booked for July 27-August 3rd. She also wants me to sit for her September 14 -September 17. I told her it'd be best if she would book me those days right away, just to help keep people from inquiring about those days. I don't imagine why that couldn't be done, but I just wanted to make for sure. I just recently joined and I don't know all of the mechanics of the site yet.

Edit: So, she just did it, but I realized that in doing that I don't get a repeat score. Can clients themselves go into past days and ask to book again in order to raise my repeat client score? Because if they can, I'll ask her to do that. It just helps me out if owners reserve the days as soon as they know, that way they're already covered and my other clients can see what days I am and am not available.

I am pretty sure that the system will automatically update once the stays start. I think because she is a new client and has not had her first stay yet, there may be a delay. But If after her second stay, if it doesn't update you can contact Rover support. They will be able to correct.

Just a little advice... be careful with booking a next stay without seeing how the pets do with you first. Rover frowns upon sitters canceling reservations and will put your account on hold for at least 1 month for a review if you cancel. (It is very bad and counts negatively against your account if you cancel regardless on the reason.)

What I normally do is will pencil in their next dates than after their first stay if things went well, at pick up I will tell them how wonderful their pets did and you would love to have them back. Let the owners know you will reserve their next reservation just to make sure they keep an eye out for it can be confirmed. This way you both have a chance to feel each other out.

Welcome to Rover!

Thank you for the help! It just updated :) Thank you for the advice as well. I didn't know that and I'm glad I found out about it now rather than too late. I didn't understand your last paragraph fully though, I suspect because of typos. Could you explain again? Thank you!
