Does it affect our booking score if an owner stops responding before booking?

I've had quite a few clients reach out to me to inquire about booking. I'd agree to watch their dog and either suggest a meet & greet, or even have had the meet & greet. But all of a sudden they stop responding. For example, a client reached out about us watching her dog. We agreed to and we had the meet & greet. She was really nice and the meet and greet went wonderfully. I've clicked "book it" and have since been waiting on her confirmation. It has "expired" 3 times now, as she has just straight up stopped responding. If I archive it so I can use her dates for someone else, will it negatively affect my booking score?

Or, I've had a client reach out. I suggested a meet & greet. They didn't respond til a MONTH later and by that time I had booked with someone else assuming they had found a different sitter.

I just want to make sure that it doesn't affect me since I didn't do anything wrong.

Thanks!

I would suggest not worrying about booking scores, since as you pointed out you can't do anything about it. It's an issue we all run into on Rover. Instead, focus on getting clients, reviews, and securing repeat clients, those will go a long way to combat any booking score you may end up with (btw, I've been repeat clients only for a year and my booking rate is 54 and 67, lol)
