You can transport dogs if you have the owners consent. There are some sitters that go to dog parks with their client's dogs but it is agreed upon in advance.

The Rover Guarantee would not cover any damages to the car if there is an accident.

Rover has no set coverage for anything- get your own professional liability insurance from PCI or similar, it’s cheap and covers you and pets in your care and car and homes with real pet specialty insurance - for a million $ umbrella it’s 150 a year -

I wish Rover would offer it but since they aren’t in the pet care business stated in the t&c documents they mediate settlements vs proactive health/ professional liability coverage. DogVacay used to offer enhanced coverage For sitters not sure when it was ended.

If Rover ends up investigation of complaints or seeing you offering services they see as potential liability for them, your profile gets removed from views for a while during their alleged investigation to humiliate you and its 50/50 if they remove you and will ruin you to your clients at a whim

The Rover insurance provides zero liability coverage for the sitter or walker, everyone should purchase their own independent insurance coverage to be sure your butt is covered.

Rover insurance basically is paid for by sitters and provides us ZERO benefit to cover any damages to us or our property.. If you get in an accident and the dog flies out the window and gets hurt.... their insurance probably would cover that. For the dog's safety and to protect your car I would see if you can set a kennel up in your car and place dogs in that. It keeps them from being flying projectiles and from weeing on your seats.
