Why doesn't this question box like my question?

My actual question is "How does on-demand dog-walking work, from the sitter perspective?"

I am interested in getting a how-to, start-to-finish explanation of how on-demand dog walking works, and I cannot find this anywhere on the Rover site. I believe I turned this service on, but I need to make sure that I can choose walks that are nearby my work. Also, if I get a notification, what do I do then? When I signed up for Rover, I got links to all kinds of helpful tutorials on providing dog boarding. Are there not similar how-to resources for dog walkers? Like, how do I get the dog? How do I know where the walk is? How do I choose between potential walks, etc. etc. Is this just coming to my email inbox and I need to be patient?

Thanks!

Rover has done very little to inform the community about the Quick Match on demand walking program they have rolled out in several cities and its just one more thorn in their side. You are required to attend a face to face meeting and perform several tasks before you are accepted into the program so I highly doubt you are in it right now. Give support a call and they can direct you, best of luck [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]
