I want to contact a sitter before I book anything. Is this possible? I want to meet the person and check the home of where the dog would stay.?

Personally I do not accept meet and greets for owners who have not already made plans for specific dates. There's simply not enough time for some sitters to have 30 minute complimentary meetings if there is no plan to book in the near future. So you may get some sitters that won't meet with you.
