Any Wag Walkers out there?

Can you promote your Rover profile (email and custom promo code) on your Wag profile and vice versa? I rarely get requests on Rover and have yet to actually book a service. I would love to get more experience though. With Wag I am a preferred walker for a ton of clients but I rarely have the chance to request walks from them as other walkers always beat me to it. I was wondering if it was against the rules since the two companies aren't really together. Does anyone do this?

Hi work for wags .yes it hard to get walks sometimes and you have to be fast to get them .but you can have clients ask for you directly. Sometimes you will have lots of walks during one week and the following week you might just get one . Yes it hard this is not a job to get rich or live off of

I was thinking of signing with Rover also just to get extra walks but not sure how Rover works

Oh and I'm not sure if you can work for Rover and Wags

Rover is known for boarding that's mainly what I get. I think I've had one walk through Rover. Wag is known for walking, so I've gotten one boarding request with WAG. Found out today WAG is lowering pay for recurring walks to $8 to $10....they have to pay for tech support because their app. suck

It is against the Terms of Service to "poach" a client who finds you on Rover, so I don't think advertising your WAG profile on your account would be a good move. It is my understanding that WAG is more lenient about clients booking outside of WAG, but ONLY if the client initiates the change. Have you tried advertising about Rover in your area? Maybe purchase some business cards from the Sitter Store and hang them at local parks/dog parks, neighborhood/apartment complex bulletin boards, coffee shops, etc. I have even taped them to public poop bag stations in my service area before! I also have a car magnet so that I am consistently advertising. It does take time to receive your first client and January-February are typically slower months for everyone. I'll bet that you may have more activity around Spring Break next month! For WAG, it definitely takes patience to start being accepted for walks, it seems like you need lightning-speed to click Request! I'm not sure how many walks you've completed there, but the more you do, the more you're likely to get accepted in my experience. Good luck!

I agree with Hilary's answer - so don't violate Rover's TOS. Getting walking clients has a lot to do with where you live, larger cities with lots of folks who have long commutes and long days tend to have daily walks, rural area's not so much. Best of luck

I knew that posting your own Rover promo code on your Rover profile was against the rules but not that it was also against the rules to post other promo codes. This is why I asked though! Thank you both for your answers!
