How do I handle a walker not staying the full time?

I hired a dog walker for 30 minute walks while I do overtime at work over 2 weeks. My neighborhood doesn't have much space for walking (maybe 10-15 minutes tops) but I expected my dog to get out and get that exercise. (I specifically picked "walk" instead of check in.) Instead it seems like the walker is just letting her out to do her business and then coming back in. She has attempted to play but my dog isn't always too eager to play with new people (can't blame the walker there). But I have an alarm system and Petcube so I've been monitoring everything pretty closely. The walker's demeanor is great: she pets my cat, checks on water, etc. But I added up the total time she's been there over 4 visits and it's only a total of 60 minutes (obviously 4 30-minute visits should be more like 120 minutes). I don't want to leave a bad review but I do think I'm not exactly getting what I paid for. What's the best way to go about this?

Let the sitter know you'd like the dog to be out on the walk for 30 minutes each time, or whatever your need is. Ask for them to write a note/checklist verifying that they did this after they've done it. If you still find it to be an issue, reiterate your need, and ask them what's going on.

You should definitely point it out to your sitter and ask them for a refund, to try to give them the option to make it right on their own. If they don't agree with a refund, you can reach out to Rover and they can take a look. Sometimes their hands are tied because it is the sitter's money but sometimes there are exceptions and Rover will force a refund.
