A dog I'm looking after spun around in excitement and broke a lamp because he bumped into it, am I responsible for this or is it something insured by Rover or just something the owner accepts their dog did?

What happens if an owners dog breaks something in their home? What's the course of action if any other than obviously letting the owner know.

Rover insurance does not cover property damage and if it did it would be subject to the $250 deductible. You should explain to the owner what happened during your stay and that's that.
