What service is more popular - boarding or dog walking?

What are you finding is more popular a service, dog boarding or dog walking? I'd like to get some dog walking business - any suggestions on advertising? I've shared on Facebook and Craigslist and word of mouth of course. I've got some good business right now with boarding - and hoping that keeps up after the holidays. I thought dog walking clients would help between/during boarding clients.

I've been sitting with Rover for years and wasn't even aware that they marketed dog walking. Never had one request ever. I signed up with Wag for that but they're the WORST. I wish i got walking requests from Rover because they've been great to work for so and am curious if it's just my area?

I'm a full-time walker and my calendar is full every M-F, but mid-day walks depend on where you live. Larger cities with folks who commute a lot have greater potential, more rural not so much. I peeked at your profile and if you want to attract more potential walks you need to increase the size of your service area. Best of luck

Thank you for responding - I can't seem to figure out how to increase the size of my service area. I will message support as well.

Walt, thank you very much for this advice. I did increase my service area and get 1-2 new rover requests a week - mostly boarding but I do have a regular day care dog and have my first meet and greet for a drop in customer! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
