Why do flaky owners affect my booking score?

Hello everyone!

I've been on rover for a few months, and have had a few successful clients, with even a few repeats. I've noticed, however, that certain things affect my booking score that I consider unfair. Currently, I have 17 archived requests due to a variety of reasons. Of those 17, 10 of them are of NO FAULT of mine, I respond within minutes and am always available to book the appointment or set up a meet and greet. Despite this, the owners often say things like "I've found someone else," someone closer, or cheaper, or someone who just fits their dogs better (some never reply at all)! That's all fine and dandy, I do not mind owners trying to save money or make sure their dogs are happy, but why should these reasons affect my booking score? It has nothing to do with me, and it seems rather unfair.

Booking score is just another useless measurement on how you are doing It has little impact on you acquiring new clients and is only seem by you. Provide good service and make money - that's what counts

Performance scores are discussed here https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...
