Why am I not receiving any requests?

I am not receiving any requests at all on Rover. I did a search (using google incognito) and I do not appear at all in any of the searches that I should appear in. My profile is approved. Not sure why it isn't appearing. Maybe there are so many dog walkers in my area? My price for a walk is very low. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I searched your area and found you for drop ins on page 3 #15, which is not a good place to show up. You need to do a few things to help you in searches, take the Rover 101 quiz and get the badge. Ask more friends to submit testimonials as having them is super important. You may also want to create tear off flyers and post them in your local area stores, Starbucks, pet stores, vets, etc, many sitters have acquired new clients this way. Craigslist is usually a bust as is Nextdoor, but it never hurts to test the waters.

Angela,

Give me a couple of streets/x streets nearby--doesn't have to be your own--for me to verify with the search map because I'm not finding you either under drop-ins. Just drove through Lincoln Sq yesterday enroute to Ravenswood.

Some intersections nearby are Lawrence and Damen, Ainslie and Western, Lawrence and Western.

When I zoom in on Lawrence & Damen, you are still on page 3, #2. Not good but at least you are there. There are tons of people on Rover now and, despite my having 42 reviews, I hardly get many new requests. Way too much competition.

Try some of Walt's marketing suggestions and you can definitely help your cause with more testimonials and badges. Good luck!
