Do you feel your feedback is listened to?

I have given feedback on a variety of items, some simple web design changes, that would improve things for sitters. None of them have been implemented. I feel user feedback is always good for making improvements at work, but am feeling like I'm not heard and it's disheartening.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I can't recall ever seeing this question. You know how sometimes new questions show up way back in the list. I'm positive that Rover moderates and releases them in batch form, probably to ensure that the board is not spammed to death.

But going back to the question. Rover doesn't take suggestions from sitters. I don't even think they take suggestions from dog owners or really do anything to solicit. One example would be the search algorithm. Tell me they had a focus group of owners and that they didn't care about location as a key criteria! Here in a big city, receiving results from miles away is a total waste. I've had clients who don't even have cars because they are transplants and can get around if they need to with Uber, public transportation, bicycles or whatever.

I think Rover just looks at what other companies are doing for ideas. Period.

No one ever answered this question and I find it surprising as you posted long ago. However, little has changed, Rover pays very little attention to the sitter community, we ask, are given vague responses, and then its forgotten

I agree with Walt and Karen. As a matter of fact, I recall Walt's answer one or two months ago, essentially saying that sitters' concerns are not Rover's concerns, even if it had to do with personal safety, such as firearms left out in the open at eye level.
