I have put up business cards on houses in various neighborhoods yesterday. I have not received any responses yet. Do I just need to wait a week or two or do I need to use other means such as posters and hang them around pet businesses?
Not every sitter acquires clients right out of the gate, for most, it does take time, up to several months. I looked at your profile and your calendar shows only availability on Saturdays???? With this limitation, it will be extremely difficult to get any clients at all as most walks are M-F as are most drop-ins. I would recommend you take and complete the Rover 101 quiz and get the badge, and ask friends to write testimonials for you. The badge and reviews/testamonials help you show up higher in client searches, I searched your area for Saturday walkers and you showed up on page 2, not a good place to show up.
