No Business from Rover - Not one inquiry yet?

I have not gotten one response or inquiry for services and it's been over 3 months since I started.

I even posted an ad on Craigslist and still no responses?? I'm in San Diego...maybe too many people? I have low prices and not one dog owner has contacted me.

Why??? Anyone else experience this?

Having reviews or testimonials are a key element of showing up higher in the Rover search engine. May I suggest you ask your friends and family to write and submit a few. https://www.rover.com/account/profile... I searched for you in Tierrasanta and you showed up on page 2, and don't get discouraged as it took me 3 months to get my 1st client

I am more of a hobbyist than a professional. I don't do anything to market myself, but we got requests almost immediately after signing up for rover. Do you have photos and a complete profile? That seems odd.

First, if you don't have business cards you need to get some. Not only starting out but keeping new customers contacting you requires marketing your business. Search the Q&A Community for a lot of great suggestions. CL works for some hosts but most of us market our business with a business facebook, online Business2Business (B2B) -you need to search and join, Nextdoor and leg work by going to rescue adoptions-better yet volunteer and your name will get out there. There are many other great ways to market yourself. Rover also provides connections on your profile to market yourself. Check out their Sitter Resources. Good Luck.
