Ridiculous or Is It Me?

I'm watching a single dog, with my dogs, for a couple while they are on vacation.... We did a meet and greet without any issues, in fact I thought this was going to be a very easy job. Unfortunately their demands are getting more and more ridiculous...

First I need to mention that the requests are coming both through their personal cell phone and over rover, my communication is all through rover only. Second I clearly showed them at the meet and greet that I take multiple photos and videos for my clients. Lastly, they've seen my string of 5 star reviews as well as repeat clients.

When their dog was dropped off he was very dirty and they told me that they wanted him to be able to sleep in my bed with me so I told them I would need him to be clean. The couple stated that they didn't have time to wash him so I washed/conditioned him at no extra cost to them. I then cleaned his collar in OxiClean to remove the dirt. While washing him I noticed that something had caused irritations to the inside of his ears and that the one was severely scabbed.

Soon after the meet and greet they texted me that they wanted to to buy an IP Camera for my home so they could log in and see their dog at will. I said I would see what I could do but I did have Skype and they could contact me through Skype to see their dog. This changed and the day they dropped off their dog they said they'd prefer me to have a camera that they could log into so I went out and purchased one.

Today I've sent them the log in information /password as well as 36 new photos of their dog and they passed this information onto her father as well as a family friend to "check" on their dog at will. Furthermore they texted me stating that they information wasn't provided fast enough and were asking why his collar wasn't on him in all of the photos.

I truly feel like they are invading my privacy by passing out this IP/Password and in 12 hours I've had 6 random log ins to my living room camera.

I wrote to them about the scabs in the ears of their dog and they responded outside of Rover that he must have gotten them here. (I'm certain that he didn't)

Regardless, I can honestly say I will NEVER give anyone unlimited access to a camera in my home again.

Btw- I had stated that I had no problem with the camera in my backyard but they insisted that it had to be in the room the dog would be in the most.

Wow. I'd say you have gone above and beyond. I'm sorry you're having this experience. Surely it would not be unreasonable to have denied a camera in hour home though right?
