Does it always take this long to get paid?

I sat a dog last weekend and the dog was picked up on Sunday. It is Thursday night and my funds are still not in my PayPal account (I did withdraw it). This is my first time, but it seems quite long to get funds through PayPal. Any suggestions?

Hey Kristin, I'm in the same boat but did read in the Q&A's that the first payment takes the longest to become available in your account (I'm using paypal too). Kind of like any other "normal" job takes longer to process your first direct deposit. Give it a few more days, you're not alone!

Thank you all for posting this. I was about to lose it with http://Rover.com. My first job ended on Sunday, and 4 days later I have yet to be paid by Rover!

The first payment does take longer, as everyone has noted. Usually, my payment goes like this:

-Rover pays me 2 days after the booking is complete -After I withdraw to PayPal, it takes 5 mins to show up in my PayPal account -PayPal takes on business day to move it from PayPal to my bank account.

So, all in all, I plan on it taking 3 business days total from the end of the booking before I have liquid cash available.

My first payment took about a week to show up. The second payment was much quicker. Paypal seems to be a bit slow transferring to my bank account, but the availability of funds from Rover to Paypal was much quicker the second time around.

That happened to me a few weeks ago. I was just getting ready to start trying to track it down through PayPal and other means, when suddenly it appeared in my account.

Give it a few more days and then start sleuthing.

I have always gotten paid in 2 days but now with Stripe it takes 3 days. Sometimes 5 days because they don't process on Friday or Saturday. This is too long, payments are too slow

I would contact Rover support, they are usually very good at fixing things quickly.
