You should check with your local (city/county) websites to see what is required. Also, check with your neighborhood association if you have one. The city or county level of government usually issue licenses or permits if they are needed. Bonding is insurance, and isn't really necessary if are a sole operator, with no employees (bonding protects business owners from employee theft) but it is nice to have as most people don't understand that....they look for "bonded and insured", so you can purchase it along side of basic liability insurance (that you should have) if you think it would help with your pet sitting business.
