Do owners see the price of the request calculated out for them?

I'm not so sure that owners see that rates are increased if there is more than one dog. For example, I just had someone with 3 dogs request me and I usually do a per dog rate (although I intend to lower my price for her). However, she was under the impression that it was only 30 per night, not per dog, because of the way it is listed on the site.
tl;dr: Do owners see the price of their request before they send it to you, or is it a surprise for them when you book it?
That's a good questions. I want to know it too. However, it is very strange that an owner thought to board dogs for $10 a nigh each...
