What is the best way to get bookings?

I am new to Rover. I am interested in becoming a dog care-taker after my 15 and 16 year old dogs passed away. I thought this would be the best way to heal from that experience.

Looking forward to my first two-week booking which starts this weekend!

You can do a search in the forum for marketing ideas. Advertise your services to any and all pet-related businesses in your area. Check with other sitters in your area and ensure your prices are reasonable.

I see that you only take tiny dogs. That will limit your client base tremendously. I would suggest marking that you accept the next weight class as well, then use the M&G to determine if the dog is a good fit. Also, the fact that you already have 2 dogs may be why some people don't contact you. I would review the text of your profile, there are some formatting issues that make it hard to read.

It sometimes takes up to several months to get that first client.

Be active on the site, and respond quickly. Pay attention to your ratings and become involved in the community. Accept your first few clients if you're comfortable with them, because more will follow.

I agree with Cari. Look at your profile on computer. Its all gibberish. Adjust that and I'm sure the requests will come. Also 90% of dogs under 15lbs are puppies. You blocked puppies so its a very narrow field you're looking for.
