Owner(new Rover user) never responded after a good meet & greet?

I got this four-day drop-in visit request from an owner. It is a one visit per day service for her cat. We had what I thought was a casual and brief meet & greet at her apartment. She seemed very laid back and was happy about everything before I left. She told me in the end that she would leave her keys to the concierge in her building for me to pick up and get into her apartment. She even asked me to send her photos of her cat everyday. So I thought the meet & greet went well. When I got home, I sent her a message thanking her for meeting with me and inviting her to book with me. She never responded.

I know. This could mean that she's no longer interested.

But I saw on the owner's profile, that she became a Rover user the same day she sent her request to me. So I thought, maybe she's new to Rover's messaging system and still navigating her way around it. But it has been 4 days since we had the meet & greet, and her requested service is starting in 4 days. So I messaged her again today, giving her a date to respond to me by. I said if I don't hear from her by that date, I will just assume that she is no longer interested and I will archive our conversation.

Am I being unnecessarily concerned? Because I don't want this owner's cat to starve to death just because she forgot to respond to me... Please let me know your thoughts on this situation. Thank you!

I would just call the owner. Leave a message if she doesn't answer. Confirm that she's still interested in booking. Usually what I do is ask the client before I leave if they've used Rover before and if they know how to book. I make any adjustments to their request and book it right there.

I highly recommend you call the owner using the phone number in the booking request. New users don't understand the steps required to accept and complete the booking. They may think the booking is complete and expecting that you will perform the service. Get this done today before you cause a problem with a no show for the job

People change their mind all the time. I message once, archive and move on. You've reached out to her twice which is more than fair.
