Can a potential client give me a bad review or report me?

Yesterday afternoon I received a request from a woman that needed her dog walked today and on the 14th of July. I responded within minutes asking for her to put her location on her page since it was not present. By responding to her, she assumed that I was all set for taking the job. She did not respond to me until today. This morning I woke up to about ten messages from her. The first was her confirming where she was located (6 miles outside of my service area) and then subsequently asking if she has put things in right. When I woke up at about 10 am I responded informing her that I cannot take a walking gig so far outside of my service area. About an hour ago she gave me her whole spiel about the dog pooping in the hotel room and she thought we had confirmed things. I informed her I do not take care of dogs I have yet to meet, will not walk until the booking is confirmed, and she was so far out of my service area that I would come up negative if I took an Uber or Lyft (boyfriend has our car today because I had no bookings confirmed). I have yet to receive a response from her (she asked to meet tonight, which is something I cannot do because she is too far), but I did a quick search and suggested other sitters that may be able to help her. Can she contact Rover and complain about me so I would lose my ability to sit in the future? I did everything right and by the book in the messages but I am still worried that she could jeopardize my primary income.

Don't worry. Anything she complains to Rover is invaild because you did not have a confirmed stay.

I would give your final answer of no and stop messaging her.

IF you confirmed stay etc and she left bad review you can respond publicly and politely online. Rover would follow up with you and you give your side of things. If you cancel last minute DURING a stay, that's when they put your account on hold and investigate. That would be for any situation whether it's your fault or not. So just because your account gets put on hold does not automatically mean you're kicked off.

Yeah that is what I did and thankfully she hasn't responded to me.
