Is Rover App Tracking My Location During Daycare?

I noticed a few days ago that when I "started" my doggie daycare for the day, the Rover app wanted me to allow location services to ensure that I wasn't just leaving the house after dogs get dropped off. I think this is a great idea, but when I had to run to the hospital today for 45 minutes, I felt like I needed to explain my whereabouts to the owner. I didn't mind, but when I end the daycare and send the Rover card, will it show my movements to the owners? I'm just wondering if I'll need to explain quick trips to 7-11 and such in the future.

I wish I knew the answer to this. Anyone?

From what I remember, Rover only uses GPS tracking for dog walks and not for drop-in visits or daycare services. You have the option to "start a walk" in either if you want to walk a dog and that will enable GPS tracking. Otherwise no, Rover does not track your daycare or drop-in movements.
