Why only dogs??? What have you got against cats?

I'm arranging a pet sitter for my cat and I have to save him as a dog? Wth.

I'm also having a lot of difficulty filling out the service-request form for cat-sitting.

I experienced this as well. I got a quote for cat sitting and had to book under 'dog boarding' tab and was charged the dog price and now I have to work with the sitter and Rover to straighten out the billing. It would be much more clear and efficient if Rover simply added a 'Cat Boarding' option.

HI Laura:

If you'd like to search for sitters that offer cat sitting, you can use the Filter function toward the middle of the screen. Once you select the type of service (Boarding, House sitting, Drop in visits, etc); click on More Filters, and then select Cat to filter the sitters that offer cat care. You can read more here from Rover's Help Center: https://support.rover.com/hc/en-us/ar...

This is very confusing. Just do a separate search for cat boarding. The rates are different for cats and dogs, and then I have to go and ask the sitter what their rates are. SO unnecessary and unclear. Rover needs to update their website so it is more user friendly, especially for cat owners.

It would be nice to have a clearer option for cats; one either has to assume the dog care covers cats or dig to find the added services which is not exactly the language I would normally use. Thank you.

Hi, just came here to say it is confusing and it would be nice to have a better and easier option for cats considering many people have cats. It is kind of hidden in all the "more filters" that are available. UPDATE: I did what it is explained in the link but when I actually go to request "Contact xxxx" only the dog boarding at the top appears... so the filter works to search but for the request? What am I doing wrong?
