I'm new to http://Rover.com and was wondering if any other sitters have purchased pet sitting insurance. If you have what does it cover (like dog bites, etc.) and would you recommend getting it?
Many Rover sitters also purchase independent insurance. The Rover insurance provides better coverage for the owners pets and home than it does for the sitters and walkers. Independent policies provide greater liability coverage for the sitter. There are many good insurance companies supporting the pet care community. Annual cost can be as low as $200-300 per year, it depends on what pet care services you provide, like how many dogs will you host at one time, and other questions.
