Dogs whine to communicate their physical, mental, or emotional state. Ensure that your dog's needs for physical exercise and mental stimulation are met before you leave the house. The solution to your pups whine at times may be as easy as a walk in the park. Put a collar on your dog, snap the leash and take him for a long walk. Alternatively, take him to the park for a romp and games. A tired dog is a good dog, more likely to flop down on his bed and snooze when you leave the home.
