What is the stubbornest breed of dogs?

I have 4 chihuahuas in my pack that are very 'opinionated' for sure. Recommend a companion breed?

omg pitbull for sure

A female Husky is the smartest, and most stubborn dog you could ever own.

I have a hard headed Min Pin!!! Love her!!!

Australian Shepherd / Border Collie mix...only because ours is so stubborn! Lol

I've had 3 Rhodesians Ridgebacks; wonderful, really smart, but they put the stub in stubborn!

Dachshund for sure!

I would say huskies, Malinois, German Shepards.

i think bulldog!

I try never really cool pets names such as stubborn but more headstrong and rigid. As someone who has had several German Shepherd's in my life, I can say that they can be relatively headstrong. For instance when my dog smells something he really wants to follow that path and will refuse to follow.

I would say it depends on the time and training spent with the dog, when I was a teenager I had a daschund that I barely spent time with (regrettably) because I was too busy doing teenager things. He ran the house full of labradors and chow chows. Later in my years, I now have a Labrador/german shepherd mix that is terrified of my parents daschund.

Boxers for sure! Weimaraner's. In my opinion most motivation of any pup comes from their food drive.

It's hard to determine which breed of dog is the most stubborn as each dog has its own personality. However, some breeds are known for their independence and strong-willed nature, which some people may consider as stubbornness. The Shiba Inu is one such breed, which is a Japanese breed that is known for being independent and difficult to train. Other breeds that may also exhibit stubbornness include the Afghan Hound, Basenji, and Basset Hound. Ultimately, a dog's behavior depends on their training, socialization, and individual personality rather than their breed alone.

I have always been told that german shepards are the smartest. but with all of the mixed breeds now i don't see how one breed is smarter than any other.

My Old English Bulldog just does things in his own time. That is considered stubborn by some, but it is part of the breed's charm. I find he really likes to take his time when I am in a hurry! That is why I love Bullies! He always makes me laugh when I am trying to rush him.

Basset Hounds. I've had two and I've never seen anything like it in all my life. I guess they probably all are when they don't want to do what they're told. Just like kids!! Haha!!

I have had many different dogs in my 53 years, but my Old English Bulldog is by far the most stubborn dog I have ever owned! The training techniques that worked on my other dogs have not worked on him. Good thing they are so darn cute!
