Many dogs develop a fungus/yeast problem (infection) mainly due to their diet. This can typically be called Candida. Some say it smells like Fritos or cheese.

There are several other things that can lead to a yeast infection. If your animal has been on antibiotics too much, bad nutrition, vaccinations, thyroid problems, medications or an illness.

The most common problem is a poor diet. One that is void of fresh meat, live enzymes and probiotics and usually fed a high grain based diet. If this is the case, not any kind of bath is going to help. You need to fix this at the source.

She is on raw food as is her brother - he doesn’t smell. It’s very cheesy and only apparent about 6 weeks after she’s been clipped
