What to do with an aggressive guest dog? [closed]

Hi everyone,

I'm having a dog aggressive Shiba Inu staying with us for a few more days. During the meet&greet, she was perfectly fine with our dogs...so I guess it was because her owner was present. However, from the first day of the stay, she has always tried to attack our dogs. She intentionally bit them. Luckily, this breed isn't big so there was no blood. She looked like she wanted to play but when we let her out, she rushed to our dogs and started a fight. We took an advice and walked them all together but she still attacked while walking. What do you think is the problem here? Is she just unfriendly toward other dogs? An innate trait?

(She is very good with people.)

Thanks!

Hello

I would recommend talking to Rover directly, reaching out to the owner, and you being the only person to handle the pup. I would separate the dog from the others at all times and never let outside unattended. Even if the pup was doing well at the meet and greet, fear aggression does occur in some dogs. Move slowly, find what the dog loves, and let the dog come to you.
