Charging for walking multiple dogs?

I have my first client (!!) who has three large labs that she wants walked. I will have to walk them individually - at least at first - because of their size. If I am offering a half hour walk per dog, that's 1.5 hours of my time not including travel back and forth. I wanted to charge $12 per walk (per dog), but thought about going down to $30 for the whole pack. Does this seem reasonable, or should I just be charging a flat fee of $12 for the entire thing?

You should be charging per walk per dog. Just like boarding or sitting is per stay. You could work with the owner and do a package deal and reduce the two other walks maybe $2 or so but you should definitely be charging individually.

I charge 15.00 to walk one dog, less if they are small, more if they are very large. Labs can be out of control on walks probably a good idea to walk one at a time, I owned a lab and she would walk me rather than I walk her, she weighed 80 lbs.

I have a small hotdog dog that likes cars while walking and cats.

When I walk multiple dogs I charge the rate for a walk(for you it would be $12) then I charge $5 extra for each additional dog. I would definitely be careful waking all three and maybe only taking 2 then 1 to see how they walk/play together. Hope this helps!

I would initially quote the $12 if you have to walk them individually. If the client is negative about the price then negotiate. If you start at the lower price and they don't like it then you are worse off.

I would charge per walk{trip}, and then add in dogs. so if one of the dogs won't walk with the other two for one trip, and needed another individual walk, i would charge for the next trip. 12 dollars so you at least make money for the multible hours instead of one where it would only take 1 hour instead of 2. does that make sense? like a flat rate per hour walk because you are using your time to do that extra hour walk or two if all three need to be individually taken out. which would be good for training services to be offered.
