I want to book someone to check on my dog once per week for 3 months. How do I do this? I tried and it will only let me book once per day for three months?

I am a puppy owner trying hire someone regularly to come on Mondays and Wednesdays in the afternoon.

If you are looking to book walking services you can book Mon & Wed for a month or longer at a time. Most sitters may not like monthly bookings as they won't be paid until the end of the entire booking and you will be charged for the entire booking once it is accepted by the sitter and you.

If you are booking drop in service you cannot book non-consecutive days and must create multiple booking requests for each day you wish the sitter to come to your home

Hope this helps

I would suggest calling Customer Support [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team]. They can give you instructions on how to do this and how to find a sitter to meet your needs.

I'm a sitter and have this situation over and over. Rover needs to add the ability to book non-consecutive dates for drop in visits, just like they offer for dog walking. They launched it, then pulled it for some problems. I agree with others that sitters are not going to want to book out a month of visits without getting paid. Work around is booking the visits as Dog Walks, and pay separately each week.

Yes. You would do best by calling Rover customer support. It may be that your Sitter choice is only available part of the time that you have selected Edit: Rover just announced recurring booking. It alliws you to book out in the way you described. I just got a recurring booking placed for Tuesday / Thursday for the next three months.
Rover will charge her card weekly and pay me weekly. On the scheduled days that I don't submit a Rover card, the system will assume that the service was not rendered and I won't be paid.

Recurring booking is being rolled out and is not available in most areas of the country. I was part of the beta team for this feature and it works well for my daily clients

Unfortunately, Rover does not offer the option to request nonconsecutive days NOR the option to select different number of visits per day in one booking, BUT is something Rover is currently working on for the near future. There are some kinks Rover is working out before launching the option to book nonconsecutive dates. Rover is constantly changing to better serve their owners and sitters.

At this time, you will need to create separate booking that will appear separately in your inbox, for example:

1 request= 1 drop in Mon-Fri 1 request= 1 drop in Mon-Fri 1 request= 1 drop in Mon-Fri ETC

It does now. I have a client who is a regular T, Th walk. They are set up with recurring booking and I am paid weekly

Drop ins was implemented but put on pause due to kinks needing to be worked out. Walks, you can select all dates and book in one request
